Wayne Wesley Gottshall, 71, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born November 29, 1953, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Wilbur and Jeannette May (Siple) Gottshall.
Wayne worked for the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot and was a proud United States Marines Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1001 in Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg. Wayne loved sports and would talk about one of his favorite teams quite often, the Philadelphia Eagles. He will be missed!
Surviving is his wife, Sharon L. (Gardner) Gottshall of Carlisle.
Graveside Services will be held on August 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
