Thomas L. Hershey

Thomas L. Hershey, 71, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on September 7, 2025, in Carlisle Skilled Nursing and Rehab. He was born December 13, 1953, in Carlisle to the late Merle Wilson and Arminta Josephine (Holtry) Hershey.

Thomas worked as a welder for Valk Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299 in Carlisle, Sons of Amvets Post 274 in Carlisle, and VFW Post 6168 in Shippensburg.

Surviving is his daughter, Gina Hershey of Mt. Holly Springs; two grandchildren, Robert and Brian Mckenzie; great granddaughter, Camrynn Myers; siblings, William Hershey (Judy), Gerald Hershey (Phyllis), Geraldine (Robert) Shipp, Peggy Clouse, and Edgar Hershey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his siblings, Linda Hockenberry, Doris Markelwitz, Ruth Gutshall, Mildred Hockenberry, Mary Hershey, Richard Hershey, and one set of twins.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 15, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A viewing will be held at 5:00 PM until time of service and burial will take place in Letort Cemetery at a later date.
