Susan C. Barrick

Susan C. Barrick, 70, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in her home. She was born June 17, 1954, in Kittanning, PA, to the late Dale R. and Mary Anne (Kunst) McCullough and was the widow of Douglas Barrick who passed away in 2020.

Susan worked for Hanover Hospital as an Anesthesia Tech and was a United States Air Force Veteran. She enjoyed the outdoors, such as gardening and going on nature walks. While living in Virginia a while back, Susan loved trips to the beach.

Surviving are her children, Jennifer C. Wiley (Brad) of Boiling Springs and Jessica Hope Peslis (Daniel E.) of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Faith, Bradley, Kassidy, Seth, Sophia, Athena, and Helena; three great grandchildren, Jenna-Rose, Archer, and Isaac; two sisters, Shirely Zygunt and family, and Lois Bear and family; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Susan was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Randall E. Rickrode, Sr., son, Randall E. Rickrode, Jr., and brothers, Dale R. and John A. McCullough.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. Burial will take place in Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA.
