Shirley Hale

Shirley Ann (Hable) Hale, 75, formerly of Snow Shoe, PA, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle. She was born in Harrisburg to the late Dennis Dodd Mundy and Emily Bixler Mundy. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton E. Hale, Jr.

Surviving is one son, William Hable of Snow Shoe, PA; sister, Carolyn Kulp and husband, David of Harrisburg; her step-daughter, Linda Bixler and husband, Michael of Mt. Holly Springs; step-sons, David Hale and partner, Barbara Kachik of Moshannon and Allen Hale and wife, Barbara of Temple, GA. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and ten nephews and nieces.

Shirley graduated from William Penn High School, class of 1963 and was a bookkeeper for American Furniture until her retirement. She was known for her beautiful hand painted ceramics and loved music and dance.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave.,Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating.
