Shelly D. Berndt

Shelly D. Berndt, 37, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on March 7, 2026, in her home. She was born July 31, 1988, in Allentown, PA, to Timothy and Jeannie (Hewett) Berndt.

Shelly attended Manhattan College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She then went to work as a pharmacy technician. Shelly was an avid lover of all animals, when growing up, she always wanted to be a veterinarian. She had a very kind personality and was always considerate of others. Shelly loved the beach, especially Jersey Shore, and loved spending quality time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Shelly is survived by her siblings, Suzanne McCarthy (Daniel) of New York and Daniel Berndt (Virginia) of Westminster, MD; also aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
