Shawn A. Baker

Shawn A. Baker, 56, of Newville, PA, passed away on June 23, 2024, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born September 4, 1967, in Carlisle to Barbara (Hoff) Lebo and the late Barry Baker. 

Shawn was a United States Air Force Veteran and worked for Pepsi and Office Depots Warehouse. He played softball for Heishmans for many years. Shawn enjoyed watching deer in his backyard, golfing, working in his garage, and sports. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling for the league he was a member of. Shawn loved watching Penn State Football and the New York Giants. 

In addition to his mother, Barbara, Shawn is survived by his children, Sarah Baker and Ashley Baker (Colby Newhouse) both of West Virginia; grandchildren, Violet and Bella; and sister, Kami Hoffman of Boiling Springs; and his furry companion, Mica. 

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Soldiers Angels, 2895 NE Loop 410 Suite San Antonio, TX. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
