Samuel L. Yeingst, Jr., 91, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born August 5, 1933, in Gardners, PA, to the late Samuel L. and Martha (Diven) Yeingst, Sr., and was the widower of Virginia N. (Neff) Yeingst.

Sam was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from Stone Valley Construction. He was a member of the Waggoners United Methodist Church in Carlisle and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Sam was also an avid softball player.

Surviving is his daughter, Kimberly A. Malloy of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Joshua Malloy and Brooke Malloy-George (Michael); two great granddaughters, Hailee and Abigail; siblings, Harry and Robert Yeingst and Doris Jumper. In addition to his parents and wife, Sam was preceded in death by his siblings, George, Roy, and James Yeingst, Peggy Brown, and Betty Smith.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society Greater Harrisburg Area. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
