Ruth Land

Ruth E. Land, 90, of Carlisle, PA,  went home to be with the lord Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. Ruth was born March 10, 1927 in Akron, OH to the late Norman Edwin and Mary (Swinehert) Dorman. Ruth loved to read in her spare time.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ray E. Land; three children, Jonathan Michael Land of OH, Steven John Land and Cynthia Sikora, both of NJ; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Stephen Motter and Ralph Reeb officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Burial will take place in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
