Roy Klinger Jr.

Roy E. Klinger Jr., 76, of Gardners, PA passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 26, 1940 in Carlisle, PA to the late Roy E. Sr. and Evelyn Weigle Klinger.

He served in the US Army and retired from Lear with 33 years of service. Roy was a life member of the American Legion #674 and VFW #7343. He was an avid hunter.

Roy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia L. Weaver Klinger of Gardners; two sons, Daniel (Cindy) Klinger of Gardners and Kevin (grandson) Klinger of Findlay, Ohio; two daughters, Teresa (Will) Klinger of Newville and Lisa (Wil) Hudson of Gardners; 4 additional grandchildren, Brittany (Jace) Marol, Jessi Klinger, Dakota Baer, Dayton Baer, and 4 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the Rev. Andrew Ervin officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Cumberland County Honor Guard. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
