Rocco Yeingst Sr.

Rocco A. "Rocky" Yeingst Sr., 61, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. He was born on April 6, 1956 to Audrey (Soyer) Mcaloose and the late Donald Yeingst.

Rocco was a forklift operator for Excel Logistics of Carlisle and Ritner Wholesale of Harrisburg. He was a member of the Tree of Life church and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Marie Todd (Kramer) Yeingst; a son, Rocco A. Yeingst Jr. and wife, Ashley of Tampa, FL; step-daughters, Tanya Bates and husband, Bryan of Ickesburg and Treva Hiltz and husband, Brian of Duncannon; 7 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild. Also surviving are his siblings, Robert Yeingst of Sunbury, Darcy Garland and husband, Okee of Kelayres and Donna Ehrenzeller and husband, Cris of McAllisterville; sister-in-law, Vickie Gross of Carlisle; uncle, Clarence Yeingst; nephew, Mark Mcaloose of Tower City; niece, Tammy Piper and husband, Matthew of Orrtanna; one great-nephew; and father-in-law, Bruce C. Kramer of Mechanicsburg. Rocco is preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held April 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Tree of Life Church, 50 K St., Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor David Herr officiating.
