Robert D. Heward, Jr.

Robert D. Heward, Jr., 80, of Etters, PA, passed away on August 27, 2024, in his home. He was born October 9, 1943, in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late Robert D. and Shirley (Whateley) Heward.

Robert graduated from Edison High School in Edison, NJ, and later from Rutger’s University in New Brunswick, NJ. Robert was last employed at St. Onge, a mechanical engineering design company located in York, PA. He enjoyed reading, card games, golf, and the seashore. 

Surviving are his children, Jillian S. Heward and Christy E. Lucas; the mother of his children, Gloria Jean (Rogers) Heward; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; and his brother, John W. Heward. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Vance C. Enck.
