Robert George

Robert William George, 70, of Shippensburg, PA and formerly of Gardners, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at home. He was born in Carlisle, PA on June 14, 1948 to the late Forney P. and Chrystal G. Watson George.

During his working career, Robert was employed as a truck and taxi driver. He loved riding motorcycles and was a charter member of the Viet Nam Vet’s Motorcycle Club. Robert also enjoyed reading and spending time with his companion and “nurse dog,” Remi.

Helping him through his illness, he is survived by his friends, Jean Burruss of Shippensburg and Gale and Bill Shuey of York Springs. Services will be private.
