Robert (Bob) Ward Karlin

Robert (Bob) Ward Karlin, 64, of Gardners, passed away at home on July 12, 2023. He was born in Flint, Michigan on October 15, 1958, to the late Leroy and Anita (Werth) Karlin. 

Robert was a computer programmer and worked for Blue Shield and later retired from Meritus Health. He lived in various places throughout his life, including Kansas City, Houston, and Atlanta, but settled in Pennsylvania for the last thirty five years. Robert was a proud fan of Kansas City sports teams, such as the Royals and the Chiefs, and loved going to baseball games. He enjoyed finding new barbeque and ice cream shops, watching movies, driving his Dodge Challenger, and spending time with his grandchildren, who called him Grandpa Bob. 

Surviving Robert is his daughter, Kasey Karlin Hobbs (Devon Hobbs) of Gardners; grandchildren, Karlin and Dempsey Hobbs; sister, Leslie Karlin of Kansas City; and loving companion, PJ, his cat.
