Richard "Mike" Himes

Richard “Mike” Himes went home to be with the Lord, our savior, on May 19th, 2022.

At Northern High School, he was well known for his wrestling skills. Through the years he was the drummer for many local bands. Drumming was his passion, and he gave it his all, right to the end. He loved camping, even if just in the back yard. He will be missed by his wife and fur babies.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Sue; twin brother, Steve; brother, Brad; sister, Wendy, nephews, Matt, and Drew; and mother-in-law, Peggy Paul. His wishes were for a private service at his church. His wish for everyone would be to seek God and love him will all your heart, and love everyone as He loves us.

Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Victory Church, 1 Victory Church Road Gardners, PA 17324. Visit www.HollingerFuneralHome.com to offer condolences to the family.

Sue and family...my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, brother and uncle.
It was my pleasure to know him for the brief moment our paths crossed in church.
May he rest in peace and may you find peace in the memories you made together.

Love this picture of you Mike! You always had a big smile on your face! You were happy in life and your walk with the Lord. And now that your journey here on earth has been completed, you are walking with the Lord with a totally healed body. Sue, Mike loved you so much! It was so obvious when he looked at you with that sparkle in his eyes. You were blessed to have him as your husband, your friend, your soul mate! What a wonderful wife and caregiver you were for him. I pray that eventually you find some comfort in those special times, special moments you shared. Through your tears, remember, Jesus wept. My heart is breaking for you. Remember, your church family is here for you, I am here. Just ask us. I pray that God wrap you in his arms and carry you through this painful journey. May you feel his love. I love you Sue and am here. 2am friend!
