Reed David Spitz

Reed David Spitz, 2 months old, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, November 27, 2022. He was born September 27, 2022, in Carlisle to Roger Cyrus and Tiffany Nicole (Cooley) Spitz III.

Reed’s short two months on Earth are a testimony to the impact one life can have no matter how short. He charmed all those who had the privilege of meeting him with his bright smile and silly antics. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of so many. Please continue to pray for our families as we lay our beautiful baby boy to rest.

Surviving is his parents; and siblings, Trenton, and Adalynn Spitz; grandparents, Sherry Morrow (Earl Wattier), Kelly Bowermaster (Allen Scott) and Roger Spitz Jr. (Cindy Spitz) and Donald E. Cooley II; great grandparents, Richard Morrow, Patricia Bender (Hill), Roger Spitz, Sr. (Diane Diehl), Donna Spitz, and David (Nancy) Bowermaster; aunts and uncles, Heather (Shane) Amsley, Ashley Zimmerman (Matthew Smith), Derek (Brittany) Spitz, Steven (Amanda) Kiner, Lindsey (Monty) Elder, Haley Jumper and Donald Cooley III; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Reed was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Patricia Ann Morrow.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services and burial will be held privately with the family in Mt. Victory Cemetery, 1 Victory Church Road, Gardners, PA 17324.
