Preston Cordell Markley, 90, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in the Columbia Cottage Home. He was born October 12, 1935, in Mill Creek, WV, to the late William and Kathleen (Parrack) Markley and was the widower of Patricia (Stanton) Markley.

Preston served in the United States Navy for 4 years and worked for Holy Cross Hospital as a stationary engineer.

Surviving are his children, Jeffrey “Todd” Markley (Jen), Bradley A. Markley (Barb) and Tina Hartman (Richard); grandchildren, Brittany Quinnan (Jason), Bradley Markley (Ali), Tony Markley, Tara Edwards (Justin), Savanah Lankford (Jake), Alexis Plumley (Braden), Bryan Markley (Nancy), Ashley Stewart (Trey), and Allie Hartman and great grandchildren, McKenna and Maggie Quinnan, Landon Edwards, Lincoln and Presley Hill, Colton and Sawyer Markley, William, Elijah, and Benjamin Lankford, Julian and Lucia Markley, and, Oliver and Cooper Plumley.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
