Phyllis Knaub

Phyllis Deane (Hinkel) Knaub, 88, formerly of York, passed away
peacefully Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Church of God Home in Carlisle, PA. Born August 24, 1929 in York, PA to the late George and Evelyn (Byers) Hinkel, Phyllis was a graduate of William Penn High School class of 1947. She was married to Raymond Bruce Knaub for 59 years.
Phyllis was a medical secretary for the late Dr. Robert Feldman prior to the birth of her children, then she chose to be a homemaker. Loving her family and participating in family activities were priorities in Phyllis' life.  She also enjoyed reading, vacationing in Ocean City, MD, and shopping.
Phyllis leaves to celebrate her life and memories to her two daughters, Karen Boyd of Dover, PA, Nancy Kohler of Enola, PA, and son, David Knaub of Dover, PA; four grandchildren, Megan Dehoff, Erin Boyd, Kristen Kohler-Gorsuch, and Jordan Kohler; and two great-grandsons, Cayden Dehoff and Evan Dehoff.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Church of God Home Chapel, 801 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 9th with Chaplain Bradley Moore officiating.  A visitation will be following the service. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery, York, PA will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
