Paul W. "Buck" Bolen

Paul W. “Buck” Bolen, 76, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at his residence.  He was born July 17, 1947, to the late Mervin and Laura (Kuhn) Bolen.  

Buck proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He owned and operated Buck Bolen’s Drywall.  Buck loved to hunt, fish, golf and play poker with his family and friends.  Most of all, he loved his wife, children and grandchildren.  He adored his family and loved to spend time with them.  

Buck is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Minnie (Brownawell) Bolen; children, Paul (Deb) Bolen of Boiling Springs and Laura (Ken) Wagner of New Kingstown; grandchildren, Matt Bolen, Nick (fiance’ Morgan) Wagner, and Ryan Bolen; and brother, Sonny Kuhn.  Buck was preceded in death by his siblings, Billy Bolen and Beverly Crater, and grandson, Kenny Wagner.  

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
