Norma Jean Bupp

Norma Jean Bupp, 66, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, in the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was born on September 25, 1959, in Carlisle to the late Stanley A. and Dolores Z. (Helm) Bupp.

Norma was a Bermudian Springs High School graduate class of 1978. She began her food service career at Distelfink, the G.C Murphys, Weavers Bakery, then FKA Lutheran Home in Gettysburg from where she retired. Norma enjoyed crocheting and shared her talent by donating many blankets to prayer shawl/blanket ministries. She also was an avid reader.

Surviving is her brother, Roger Bupp (Kay); sisters, Teresa Frankford (Phillip) and Tracy Wolf (Troy); four nephews, one niece, and numerous great nephews and nieces whom she loved to spoil. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her infant sister.

The family would like to thank all who participated in Norma’s care, especially Jenni Lobaugh and the CTICU team at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Grace Bible Chapel, 5575 Oxford Road, Gardners, PA 17324 with Rev. Ryan A. Frankford officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services and burial will take place in the Upper Bermudian Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Chapel or Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, 185 Ground Oak Church Rd, Gardners, PA 17324.
