Nancy L. Sloan

Nancy L. Sloan, 88, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in her home. She was born December 21, 1936, in Carlisle to the late George and Geneveve (Maurice) Myers and was the widow of Bernard L. Sloan who passed away in February 1999.

Nancy worked on her family farm and held various other jobs in the Shoe Factory and the VFW Post 7343 in Mt. Holly Springs.

Surviving is her son, James Sloan (Joe) of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Corby and Teka Sloan; great grandchildren, Trevor, Bri, Dakota, and Cody; five great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Christy Sloan; and her beloved dog, Heidi. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Robert Sloan; and brother, George Myers.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Barbara Rice officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
