Mildred Sebring

Mildred E. Sebring, 89, of Carlisle passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.  She was born August 2, 1923 in Dunmore, PA to the late Frank & Rose Scherer Beier and was the widow of Glenn Sebring. Mildred was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Gwen S. (James) Howell and Melinda K. Sebring, both of Carlisle and her son, Richard G. (Chris) Sebring of Mechanicsburg. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Mildred was predeceased by 4 brothers and a sister.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 19 at 11:00 AM in the Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013, with Rev. Dr. Jeff W. Gibelius & Rev. Jennifer J. McKenna officiating. Interment will be in the church memorial gardens.  Family and friends are invited to a luncheon following services. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
