Michael McBride

Michael "Mikey" McBride, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 in the UPMC Pinnacle West Shore. Born June  19, 1957 in Carlisle, PA to the late John and Reba Mae (Stough) McBride, he is survived by his sisters, Dorene Berry and Colleen McBride, both of Carlisle and was predeceased by his brother, Timothy McBride.

Michael held many positions at Cumberland Goodwill Fire, Rescue EMS including chief. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 1299 and a lifetime member of the NRA. Mikey enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors.

In addition to his sisters, he is survived by his niece, Kelly Hrestak of Boiling Springs, and nephews, Kenneth Berry of Mechanicsburg and Robert Berry of Newville. He is also survived by two great nieces, Emma Hrestak of  Boiling Springs and Kelsey McBride of Carlisle, and two great nephews, Jaysun McBride and Tyler Berry, both of Carlisle.

A memorial service will be held August 5, 2019 at 6:00 PM in Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Visit www.HollingerFuneralHome.com for condolences to the family.
