Matt Rhoades

Matt E. Rhoades, 43, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 in the Community General  Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, PA after losing a battle with cancer. He was born November 13, 1973 in Carlisle, PA to Dwight and Sylvia McLaughlin Rhoades of  Mt. Holly Springs.

Matt worked for Heavy Duty Tire & Tread in Carlisle, PA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved to be in Potter County at his cabin. Matt also loved to be with his family.

In addition to his parents Matt is survived by a daughter, Shyann Rhoades of Mt. Holly Springs; a brother, Mark Rhoades of Carlisle; two sisters, Lorri Bowers of Mt. Holly Springs and Lisa Jumper of Newville. Also surviving is a cousin, Chuck Morrison who was like a brother to him; 4 nephews and 2 nieces. Matt was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Opal McLaughlin.
