Mary E. Romito

Mary E. (Bushman) Romito, 93, of Shippensburg, PA, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, in the Shippensburg Rehab Center. She was born February 10, 1932, in Carlisle to the late Paul and Edna (Davidson) Bushman and was the widow of Guy A. Romito who passed away in 1998.

Mary retired from GS Electric where she made motors for vacuum cleaners with over 25 plus years of service. She was a life member of the Dickinson Presbyterian Church and frequently visited Carlisle Car shows. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her son, George A. (Barbara) Romito of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Brandon Romito, Christopher Romito, and Melinda Maley; great grandchildren, Ryder, Reagan, Kyler, Chloe, and Waylon; siblings, Pauline Brunner and Edna (George) Wagner; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Guy A. Romito, Jr; sister, Martha Conrad; and brother-in-law, Lee Brunner.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Neal McCullough officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services and burial will take place in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
