Mae McAlister

Mae K. McAlister, 87, and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in Chapel Pointe of Carlisle. She was the widow of Chester McAlister and was born December 26, 1925 in Mt. Holly Springs to the late Asbury & Annie Fenton Kuhn. Mae retired from the former Orweco Frocks in Mt. Holly Springs.
She is survived by her son George C. and wife Annette McAlister of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Grace Shupp of Mt. Holly Springs and three brothers, Albert of Carlisle, Glenn of KY and Floyd Kuhn of Mt. Holly Springs.
Graveside services, with family and friends invited, will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Pointe, 770 S. Hanover St. Carlisle, PA 17013 or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.,  501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
