Lois Drake

Lois A. (Davidson) Drake, 91, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the Pappus House, York, PA. She was born on January 9, 1930, in New Market, PA to the late John and A. Marjorie (Shorter) Davidson, and was the widow of her first husband, Frank Dolciato and second husband, Sanford Drake Jr.

Lois graduated from New Cumberland High School, Class of 1947. She was a receptionist at L.B. Smith Ford and retired from her position as a clerk at the Olmstead Airforce Base. She loved to play the organ for her church and community.

Surviving is a brother, William G. Davidson of St. Augustine, FL; and a half-sister, Audrey Shorter-Kenes of Kennett Square, PA. Lois was preceded in death by brothers, John C. Davidson, Jack Leon Davidson, sister, Mabel V. Tekaucic; and her son, James Stewart.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 11:00 AM in The Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle with Pastor Bobby Jones Jr. officiating.
