Lloyd William Brough, Jr., 83, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in his home. He was born November 11, 1942, in Aspers to the late Lloyd William and Emma (Darr) Brough, Sr. He was the widower of Lloy Esther (Starner) Brough who passed away in December of 2020.
Lloyd retired from Schindler Elevator in Gettysburg with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Goodyear Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gardners. Lloyd loved to care for his home; such as cutting grass, gardening, and trimming bushes.
Surviving are his children, Duane Edward Brough (Denise) of West Virginia and Debbie Contreras of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Eric, Kayla, Nicole, Anita, and Jeri; eight great grandchildren, Coleson, Keldon, Adessa, Kaleb, Beckam, Sam, Isabelle, Logan, and Lilly. In addition, to his parents and wife, Lloyd was preceded in death by his siblings, Reba Starner, Joann Casner, and Ken Brough.
Funeral Servies will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services and burial will be held in the Goodyear Cemetery, Gardners. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Shriners Hospital, Shriners Children's, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394, or Mt.
