Linda Marie Kistler

Linda Marie Kistler, 79, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was born June 9, 1947, in Carlisle to the late Bruce and Mae (Evans) Wilson.

Linda worked for Hoffman Crystal Plant as a laborer. She was a chartered member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1299 in Carlisle where she also bartended, enjoyed playing pool and bingo. Linda operated a parent/child bowling league during the summer months and a pool league during the fall. During Christmas time every year, she made Christmas hard candies and would donate lollipops to the Legion and Eagles Christmas parties. Linda was a fighter and survived two rounds of Colon Cancer in her life. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Linda was known as the families “number one bitch”.

Surviving is her loving husband of 59 years, Robert J. Kistler of Carlisle; daughter, Koren Sease of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Jade Sease, Sebra Sease, Russell Clavey; great grandchildren, Amaia, X’Zavior, Rahnee, Charlesha, Legend, and Emanuel; siblings, Curtis M. Wilson (Terry), Teresa Wilson (Carrie), and Dennis Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 26 E. High Street Carlisle, PA. Please use one of the side doors and non members are also welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Heart Fund.
