Linda Goodyear

Linda L. Goodyear, 72, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle. She was born on December 17, 1945 to the late Guy and Mary (Davis) Helman. Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald K. Goodyear, who passed away May 4, 1993.

Linda retired from the Mt. Holly Springs VFW Post 7343 where she was a bartender for more than 40 years, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the South Mountain American Legion Post 674. Linda enjoyed playing Bingo and going to casino's in her spare time. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Heidi J. Shover and husband, Greg of Carlisle, Heather D. Starner and husband, Robert Rosario of Gardners and Heath W. Goodyear and fiancé, Jan Agosti of St. Mary's, PA; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kathie J. Diehl and husband, Robert of Mt. Holly Springs and David J. Heller and wife, Sandy of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God 602 McLand Dr., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. A visitation will be at 1:30 PM until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Mt.
