Lewis H. Goodhart, Jr.

Lewis H. Goodhart Jr., 85, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on May 30, 2024, in his home. He was born August 28, 1938, in Carlisle to the late L. Homer and Myra J. (Shearer) Goodhart.

After graduating from Carlisle High School, Lew spent several years in the Air Force. His favorite duty station was Morocco. He worked in sales and spent many years working the early shift at Panera, where his jovial quick-witted personality attracted friends of all ages. Being with his dog; Mokie, wood carving, crossword puzzles, kayaking, reading, and spending time with his family brought him joy. 

Surviving Lew is his wife, Diane (DiBlasi) Goodhart of Carlisle; his sister Susan Mowery, husband, Bobby; son Bryan Goodhart, wife, Patti and grandchildren, Kyle and Lane and Brandon; daughter Kimberly Dooley, husband Ryan and grandchildren, Sabrina and Jacoby; daughter Lesa Bonner and grandchildren Lexi husband Kevin, Gregory and Brooke and Nikki; and 2 great grandchildren.
