Lester "Buddy" H. Boles

Lester "Buddy" H. Boles, 79, of Gardners, PA, passed away July 21, 2024, at his residence. He was born June 19, 1945, in Belmont County, Ohio, to the late Harless W. and Madeline (Rucker) Boles.

Lester was an independent truck driver, who was the owner and operator of his own truck. He worked for various trucking companies throughout his life, with over 51 years of driving. Lester was a collector and loved tinkering on things, especially lawn mowers. He was a very loving and giving person, always willing to help others.

Surviving is his loving wife, Susan Scott of Gardners; son, Ricky Scott of Gardners; grandchildren, Kyle (Alexia “Lexy”) Dragon of Dillsburg, Logan Scott and Miranda Boles, both of Carlisle; two great grandsons; and brother, Robert Boles of Ohio. Lester was preceded in death by his two sons, J. Michael Boles and Charles Boles; brother, Gerald Boles; and sisters, Helen, Barabara and Betty.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Residential Hospice or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
