Leonard Clare Durf

Leonard Clare Durf, 66, of Shermans Dale, PA, passed away on June 11, 2025, in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 16, 1958, in Carlisle to the late Clarence and Rosie (Richwine) Durf.

Len was an avid fisherman and hunter. He especially enjoyed salmon and trout fishing. Len spent 16 years in Alaska and worked at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girwood. Recently, Len became a born-again Christian.

Surviving are his sisters, Mary Dehoff of Carlisle, Marie Rickrode (Roger) of Carlisle, Cyndy Motter (Doug) of Mt. Holly Springs; and brothers, Daniel and Joseph Durf both of Shermans Dale. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Leroy, and Robert Durf.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Carlisle Church of God, 458 N College St, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Dean Ramsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle Church of God. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory.
