Lawrence W. Creamer

Lawrence (Larry) W. Creamer, 85, of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 23, 1940, in Carlisle to the late Eber and Queen (McGowan) Creamer.

Larry honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he committed himself to a career with the liquor control board, where he dedicated 30 years as a store manager. Even after retiring, Larry remained active, spending 15 years at Carlisle Barrick’s Golf Course. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying years of playing softball and traveling golf tournaments and enjoyed doing yard work.

Surviving is his devoted wife, Barbara Creamer of Carlisle; his sons, Matthew of Whitefish, Montana and Luke Creamer of Mechanicsburg; granddaughter, Alysha Creamer; and two great grandchildren, Matti and Henri Creamer; daughter-in-law, Simone Koch; brother-in-law, Richard Maple; sister-in-law, SariAnn Worley; and nieces, Kim Boggs and Kelly Ryan. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was also predeceased by his mother-in-law, Helen Worley; sister, Sherrie Maple; and brother-in-law, Ed Worley.

A memorial service will be held on June 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Pastor Randy Zook officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
