Kenneth W. Bricker, 71, of Shermans Dale, PA, passed away on April 24, 2024, at his residence. He was born February 26, 1953, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late William Oliver and Joan Lee (Butler) Bricker.

Kenneth was a member of the Laborers Local 158 Union and retired from Walsh, where he did road construction. He was a strong-willed individual surviving both pancreatic cancer in 2005 and lung cancer in 2010. Kenneth spoiled his grandchildren and loved collecting golf balls with his grandson who referred to it as collecting “goofballs”. In his spare time, he enjoyed pitching horseshoes, playing pool, vacationing to Virginia, fishing, bird watching, and hunting in his younger years. Kenneth especially loved his furry companions, Lucy, and Lacy (deceased).

Surviving is his loving wife, Helen (Bitner) Bricker of Shermans Dale; daughters, Nicole Risner (Mark) of Newport, and Amy Payne (Brian) of Kentucky; grandchildren, Christopher and Abigial Risner, Austin (partner, Haley), Seth, and Kayley Payne; and sister, Kathy Bricker of Shermans Dale; and numerous extended family members. Kenneth also has his first great granddaughter on the way. Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Risner, who passed away in 2005, and brother, Steven Bricker.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Shermans Dale Ambulance Building, 260 Richwine Road, Shermans Dale, PA 17090. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Furry Friends Network, P.O. Box 519, Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
