Kay S. (Brehm) Rowe, 86, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at Thornwald Nursing Home. She was born on September 19, 1939, in Carlisle, to the late George F. and Evelyn (Penner) Brehm and was the widow of Benny E. Rowe who passed away in July of 2006.
Kay and her husband Benny were the owner and operators of Rowes Auction Service, where she later retired, after 30 years. She was deeply committed to her church, St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle, where she remained very active throughout her life. Kay was a member of the Altar Guild and Bethany Guild, where she gave much of her time. She loved watching sports, especially Penn State Football, and was a huge NASCAR fan. In her younger years, she frequently attended NASCAR races and Penn State Football Games. Her proudest accolade was becoming a Nana to her grandson, Ryan. He was the center of her world and kept her busy with his activities. Her family and her faith were most important to her, and she was very loved by many.
Surviving is her daughter, Dara K. Burke of Mechanicsburg; grandson, Ryan; sister, Nancy C. Heiges (Wilbur) of Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Kay was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri L. Rowe, who passed away in July of 2011, and sister, Janet L. Brehm.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther Street, Carlisle, PA 17013, with Pastor Titus Clarke officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, prior to services, with a luncheon to follow after service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to her church, St. Paul Lutheran Church. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
Kay leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love, forever remembered by the many lives she touched through her kindness, and devotion to her family and faith.
