Katherine Penner

Katherine Louise Penner, 80, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away June 26, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 5, 1939 in Cumberland County to the late Charles and Annabelle (Walker) Penner and was the widow of Rodney Eugene Sheller.

Katherine worked various jobs, but was most recently employed by K-Mart working in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Turnpike Ramblers and a former member of the South Mountain American Legion, Post 674. Katherine enjoyed spending time with family and loved her flowers.

Surviving are her sons, Mike Sheller and wife, Rebecca of Carlisle and Lee Sheller of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Zachariah, Joshua, Kathryn and Austin Sheller; and great-grandchildren, Anna, Addyson and Avery Sheller. Also surviving are her siblings, Dave Penner of Dillsburg, Linda Failor of Carlisle and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Katherine was preceded in death by her siblings, Clair, Robert, Charles and Anna Penner, Grace Stoudt and Dorothy Pine.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Pkwy #110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
