Karin D. Graves

Karin D. Graves, 53, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in the Hershey Medical Center. She was born March 14, 1973, in Waynesboro, Virginia, to Diane Smith of Carlisle and the late Harold Graves.

Karin was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and Elizabethtown College. She had a very soft heart for animals, and dearly loved her dog “Jack”. Karin was very kind, loving, giving, and personable, and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was dearly loved by her family. She was of the Christian faith. In her spare time, Karin enjoyed reading, gardening, playing golf, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Diane Smith, Karin is survived by her step-father, Jeff Smith; brother, Jason Graves (Bridget) of Pittsburgh; aunt, Dana Berry; uncle, Don McGee (Karen); nieces and nephews, Harper, Bracken, Rowyn, Liam, and Brielle; four great aunts, and numerous cousins. In addition to her father, Karin was preceded in death by her uncle, Dan McGee, her grandparents, Dwight and Mildred McGee, and her stepgrandparents, Harold and Roseanna Smith.
