Julia Murray

Julia M. Beam Murray, 90, formerly of Gardners, PA died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.  She was born in Dillsburg, PA on February 25, 1922 to the late Earl and Clara
Ditmer Beam and was the widow of Glenn E. Murray who died on Dec. 27, 1986.
Julia was a life long member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gardners, PA and participated in the Ladies Aid Society, Altar Guild, an and was a Fourty year Nursery and Sunday School Teacher.  Most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her loving family.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen M. Luckenbaugh and her husband Robert of Gardners, PA, Kathy M. Griffie and her husband Leslie of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; Three grandchildren, Heather and John Schreiber, Gregory Griffie and Lyle and Emily Griffie; and a great grandson, Chase Schreiber.  Julia was preceded by four sisters, Esther Starner, Alice Beam, Christine Beam and Janet Griest.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly
