Joyce M. Allshouse

Joyce M. (Green) Allshouse, 83, of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 6, 2026, in her home. She was born February 26, 1943, in Connellsville, PA, to the late Homer L. and Lucille E. (Guynn) Green.

Joyce was a graduate of Connellsville High School and worked at numerous restaurants in Connellsville including Bud Murphys, Blue Ridge Diner, and she later owned the Squeeze Inn Restaurant. Joyce worked as a health care aid at the Connellsville Hospital and Fayette Resources for over 18 years. She was a member of the Connellsville Slovak Club and Eagles Aerie Post 492 in Connellsville. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Vanderbilt.

Surviving are her children, Monica J. Filburn (Robert) of Carlisle, Kimberly Schobert, and Leslie King, all of Connellsville, and Natalie Stout of Vanderbilt; grandchildren, Emily (Blake), Olivia, Megan, Makayla, Klay, Ricky, Kelsey, Lindsay, Faith, Sarah, and Benjamin; and great grandchildren, Jackson, Brynlie, Heath (HJ), Zuri, Ceceilia (CeCe), Emily, Presley, Dalton, Leland, Ryan, and Kinley. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Audra Nicholson; and grandson, Jeffrey Dale Nicholson.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc., 418 Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425 with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services and burial will take place in the Green Ridge Memorial Cemetery, 2901 Memorial Blvd, Connellsville, PA 15425.
