Joseph D. Milliken, 81, passed away June 21, 2024, in the WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. He was born June 4, 1943, in Harrisburg to the late Walter and Anna C. (Hepner) Milliken.
Joseph drove charter bus for 40 plus years and retired from Capitol Area Transit, where he drove city bus. Bus driving was his life, even after retirement receiving calls from fellow bus drivers to answer questions. Joseph was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, where he has many beloved friends. In his spare time, Joseph loved to travel, spend time in his garden, and listen to classical music. He followed drum and bugle corps for 20 plus years. His favorite color was Red.
Surviving is his loving wife of 31 years, Tonia Milliken of Mt. Holly Springs; and his extended family members.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Dr., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Daniel Murray officiating. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and luncheon will follow the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Holly Springs Church of God Youth Group. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, Pa 17065.
