Joseph Bedard

Joseph Francis Bedard, 83, of Mt. Holly Springs PA, passed away peacefully Friday April 25, 2014 in his home. He was born February 18, 1931 in Boston, MA, to the late Joseph F. H. Bedard and Catherine Fitzgerald.

He retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Air Force in Denver, CO in 1980 after serving his countryfor 28 years. After retirement, he worked in the food service industry and was an avid gardener. He loved all kinds of sports.

Survived by his wife Barbara Aimone Bedard; three sons, Joseph (Tracey) Bedard of Falcon, CO, Jeffrey and Jay Bedard of Mt. Holly Springs, PA and four daughters; Karen (Rocky) Adkins of Milton DE, Kim (Charles) Kolman of Falcon, CO, Kelly (James) Landis of York Springs, PA, and Kris (Scot) Johnson of Gastonia, NC;  13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, as well as his sister Catherine Barry of Brockton MA.  He was pre-deceased by one grandson, David J. A. Landis.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family and memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Special Olympics, or the Yellow Breeches EMS Mt Holly Springs PA.
