John Calvin Marsh

John Calvin Marsh, 58, of Gardners, PA, passed away on October 9, 2025, in his home. He was born July 1, 1967, in Carlisle to the late Lorman and Doris (Cook) Marsh.

John worked and retired from Carlisle Frog and Switch with over 10 years of service. He was a member of the Carlisle White Circle Club. John enjoyed fixing things and was very mechanically inclined. He was very giving of his time, if you asked, he was there to lend a hand. John loved his children and grandchildren and was very proud when he became a grandfather. He loved animals, especially his furry companions Bud and Liz. One of his favorite past times was extensive conversations on the phone.

Surviving are his two children, Britney Marsh (Semir) of Mechanicsburg and Michelle Ott (Blake) of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Stella, Melia, Wren, and Kenan; siblings, Bonnie Crawford (Keith) of Mifflin, William Marsh of Gardners, Thomas Marsh of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Karen Ridge of Camp Hill, Jeanne Hillary (Michael) of Mt. Holly Springs and Jennifer Marsh of Carlisle; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services and burial will be held privately in the Mt. Victory Cemetery.
