John Hataloski

January 10, 1935 — December 11, 2021

John C Hataloski, 86 of Shippensburg, Pa., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday December 11, 2021 peacefully at Celebration Villa (Shippensburg,Pa).

John was born January 10, 1935  in Pottstown, Montgomery County but  resided most of his life in Mohnton, Berks County. He was the son of the late Joseph Hataloski and Florence Hataloski (Marquette).

John graduated from Pottstown area High School in Pottstown, Pa.

John served 6 years in the U.S. Army and 30 years as a Pennsylvania State Trooper. He was a lifetime member of the Stein Collectors International (SCI), Pennsylvania Keysteiners, Train Collectors Association (TCA) and Pennsylvania State Troopers, Lodge 65.

In his retirement he enjoyed collecting old German Beer Steins (Adolf Diesinger was his specialty having one of the largest collections in the country). He also collected antique Lionel trains and enjoyed going to flea markets and local auction houses.Through the years he had many feline companions of which his beloved Bugs has survived him.

He was the Widower of Delores M. (Uglow) Hataloski who passed away April 4th 2018. He is survived by his son Keith E. Uglow Sr (Marlena) of Grandy, NC., Beth Anne Miller (Steve) of Carlisle Pa, brother Bob Hataloski (Marlene) of Elverson, Pa, sister Joanne (Hataloski) Narro.

He was a grandfather to 4 grandchildren, Keith E. Uglow, Jr.(Nichole), Kelli J. Poole (Todd), Stephanie Miller Willingham (Alex) and Ashley N. Zentmeyer Reigle (Jason).

Great Grandchildren Austin, Cody, Ryleigh, Kayleigh,Tommy, Mason, Jenna and Isabella.

He was predeceased by 1 brother (Donald Hataloski), his stepfather (Elmer Hillegass) 2 Granddaughters Amy Michelle Uglow and Saresa Uglow Seville.

He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs. Visit www.HollingerFuneralHome.com to offer condolences to the family.
