Joan B. Nicholson

Joan B. Nicholson, 90, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1935, in Toland to the late Sam and Clara (Steigleman) Nicholson.

Joan worked as a seamstress and was a member of the Uriah United Methodist Church in Gardners.

Surviving is her children, Tammy Meals (Gilbert) of Gardners and Sue Peck (Michael) of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel Meals, and Kelly Peck; great grandchildren, Daniel Meals, Jr. and Daniella Meals. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her companion, Ray Bowermaster and siblings, James, Ronald, and Charles Windowmaker.
