Janet Kapis

Janet L. Kapis, 79, of Carlisle, PA passed away  Sunday, May 20,2018 in the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 13, 1939 to the late William and Laura Gerlosky.

Janet was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and attended the Carlisle Evangelical Free Church.

She is survived by her sons, Harold McDivitt and wife, Elaine of Carlisle and Douglas McDivitt of Danville. She is preceded in death by two children, Melissa and Harry Lockovich and siblings, Judy Mazur and Sonny Gerlosky.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 1000 Claremont Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013 with Rev. Lisa Miller officiating. Inurnment will be held Friday, June 15 at 11:00 AM in the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles, PA. Online condolences may be made to www.hollingerfuneralhome.com.
