Howard (Jack) W. Rose

Howard (Jack) W. Rose, 86, of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born November 3, 1936, in Carlisle, PA, to the late Albert and Gladys (Gouffer) Rose.

Howard was a Carlisle High School graduate. He received degrees from Northwestern University, and Penn State Capital Campus.  He worked for TYCO as an electrical engineer for 37 years, from which he retired in 1997.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Deanna (McDilda) Rose of Boiling Springs: son, Jeff Rose and wife Beverly; four grandchildren, Justin Rose and wife Brittany, Evan Rose and wife Taylor, Torri Rose, and Tyler Rose, and one great granddaughter Calee Rose. He is also survived by three brothers, Dave, Boyd and Lester Rose; and two sisters, Connie Wilson and Ruth Anne Jumper.

A memorial service will be held Monday, November 21st at 11:30 AM at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA, 17015.
