Harry Nicholson

Harry W. "Hap" Nicholson, 74, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA. He was born to the late Frank Ott Stem and Dorthea Anna (Christianson) Nicholson on February, 25, 1945 in Hammonton, NJ.

Hap worked as a material handler at Kimble Glass in Vineland, NJ for 23 years and  served his country in the US Army.  A gentle soul and a tremendous cook, Hap was a hippy at heart who loved music, especially Bob Dylan. He adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Rosemarie (Grace) Nicholson;  his son, Adam W. Nicholson and daughter-in-law, Pamela Nicholson, both of Carlisle. Also surviving are grandchildren, Alicia M. Beecher and husband Eric, Robert W. J. Nicholson Jr. and fiance Paris and Emily R. Porter and husband Cory and 6 great-grandchildren. Hap was predeceased by son, Robert W. J. Nicholson and daughter, Jennifer N. Nicholson.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Chaplain Tim Wagner officiating. A visitation will be held at 3:00 PM until the service and inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
