Glenn Edward Carey

Glenn Edward Carey, Sr., 88, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in his home. He was born March 31, 1938, in Gardners to the late Chester and Dorothy McCauslin Carey. He was the widower of Janet Louise (Beam) Carey.

Glenn was a Biglerville High School Graduate and went on to work for Peter J. Sweitzer papermill, Vetro Glass, Fry Communications, and later Home Depot. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness.

Surviving are his sons, Glenn Carey, Jr., and Kenneth Carey of Newville; grandson, Glenn Carey III and great grandson, Glenn Carey IV; siblings, Larry Carey of Carlisle, Caroline Carey of Dillsburg; Glenn was preceded in death by siblings, Johny, Dean, George and Jean Carey.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1 Mooredale Dr., Carlisle, PA 17015.
