George Lee Souder

George Lee Souder, 82, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away on December 26, 2025. He was born June 2, 1943, in Camp Hill to the late George O. and Margaret A. (Ritter) Souder and was the widower of the late Marian Beth (MacPhereson) Souder.

George was a graduate of the Cumberland Valley High School and a long-time supporting resident of the Mechanicsburg Community. He was a member of the Mechanicsburg Club and multiple other clubs and organizations and lifetime member of the New Kingstown Fire Company. George was a very proud ‘Pappy’ and enjoyed spending time with his grandchild, Caylynn.

Surviving him are his children, Megan Souder (Jason Bixler) and Andrew Souder (Candace Wiser); his granddaughter, Caylynn Beth Souder; and three brothers, Ronald, Steve, and Robert Souder. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Brennaman.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In honor of his memory, the family requests instead of sending flowers that a contribution be made to your favorite charity.
