Faye E. DeVanie, 93, of Gardners and formally of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at home. She was born on May 8, 1932, in Upper Strausburg to the late Ruth (Mackey) Myers and Ralph Myers. Faye was married to the late Lester DeVanie who passed away March 13, 2013.

Faye worked many years at the former Pennsylvania Dutch Candies in Mt. Holly Springs. She was a member of the Opossum Hill Union Church in Carlisle. Each year, Faye loved traveling to Port Charlotte, FL, with Lester for the winter. Faye also loved spending time with her family, yard sales, gardening, and doing word search books.

Surviving are her three sons, Gregory (Miranda) of Gardners, David (Lisa) of Boiling Springs, and Steven of Enola; grandchildren, Heidi (Matt) Thompson of Kansas, Lauren (Jared) Cox of Kansas, David Tyler DeVanie of Churchtown, Jami (Taylor) Houck of Etters, Alexanna (Ali) DeVanie of Mechanicsburg; three step grandchildren, Skylar (Allison) McCoy of Carlisle, Wally (Jen) Hockley of Gardners, and Jason Hockley of Carlisle; five great grandchildren, Everly and Callen of Kansas, Jonas of Mechanicsburg, Blaine and Teagan of Etters; and three step great grandchildren, Griffin and Gracyn of Carlisle, Bryce of Gardners; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph Myers, Jr., Greg Myers, Jane Brooksns, Doris Hepner, Peggy Wolfe, and one step daughter, Chris (DeVanie) Hockley.

A celebration of life will be held at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Residential Home Health of Carlisle, who took excellent care of Faye, 100 Sterling Parkway, Suite 110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
